Based on the Shropshire / Staffordshire border surrounded by beautiful countryside Newport Rugby Club is the senior rugby club in the area playing an exciting brand of free flowing rugby in National Midland 3. Promoted in 2006/7 we consolidated our position in the premier division of Midlands rugby last season and now have ambitions to move the club on to a higher level. We run three senior sides and one of the most successful mini and junior sections in the Midlands, so if you are talented and ambitious and looking to join a successful club please contact our first team manager Gareth Davies on 07501 461977.

We welcome players from all walks of life and are proud of our traditional roots and the strong relationships we have forged with overseas players from Fiji, South Africa and New Zealand.
