I can only echo David Rees’ previous plea for your continued support!  Indeed, can I be avaricious and encourage you to introduce friends and neighbours to the club to welcome our introduction to the National stage.  The lads enjoy, and play better, when the support from the bank is vociferous.  DT also enjoys it the more pints of his good ales are sold!!

We open our season at Camp Hill on the First round of the North Midlands Cup on 28th August 2009 before travelling to Hereford, newly promoted from Midlands 2 West, to open the National 3 Midlands campaign on 5th September 2009.  We start at the Old Showground with a VP lunch preceding our first home match against our old friends from Hinckley on 12th September 2009.  Please let Bob Marshall have your booking form as early as possible.

A personal plea!!  May I please have your completed revised VP Application and Standing Order (or cash!) as soon as possible?  Even better, please encourage your friends and neighbours to also complete the form!!

Our Per Vitam membership seems to have stagnated at its current total of 40 members.  Can we please persuade you to consider this value for money membership?

The National League and increased commitments will increase the quality of Rugby but it will also significantly increase our outlay!!  We therefore need greater support and income so your assistance will be welcomed.  Derek Longstaff is fundraising for all he is worth and would welcome your input or ideas.

President Steven Woodhouse and Chairman Andrew Watson Jones will welcome your support, home and away, throughout the season.  Let us cheer the ‘Port!!
